At 65, Kerala’s Narayani teacher walks 25 km everyday for her students: For the past 50 years, Narayani Teacher has walked 25km every day to educate generations of pupils in Kerala’s Kasaragod. She has been going from door-to-door to teach, not just one language alone, but multiple languages. Despite not having any formal education, she has taught over a hundred students and her disciples include many famous people.
An IAS officer who worked in factory, slept on platform, cracked UPSC exam, got 101st rank: Sivaguru Prabhakaran's story is one of perseverance and determination. Born in a family of farmers, he started working as a sawmill operator but never gave up on his dream of becoming an IAS officer. He cracked the UPSC exam on his fourth attempt and secured AIR 101.
